The Project Ladybug Fund, founded by Dina Manzo of HGTV’s Dina’s Party, formerly of Bravo TV’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has been enriching the lives of seriously ill pediatric patients and their families since 2007. Now, dubbing May as “Ladybug Month”, Project Ladybug has launched Lucky Locks in conjunction with SHE by SO.CAP.USA Hair Extensions. From May 1st through June 7th, supporters may visit a participating salon and receive a single red extension for a donation of just $10., which also includes removal of the extension at a later date. The Project Ladybug Fund’s at Lucky Locks Initiative will include the annual Ladies Night Out event at The Brownstone (351 West Broadway, Paterson). Dina Manzo, formerly of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, founded Project Ladybug in 2007 with a wish to bring financial and emotional hope to children and their families undergoing rigorous medical treatments. With three funds across the country and others set to open in the next few years, Dina’s positive spirit and determination to protect the spirit of the children of Project Ladybug has accounted for her many successes with the organization. Dina hopes to launch more Project Ladybug fund’s across the country, raising hope and funds for terminally-ill children nationally. Dina also owns a boutique event planning company, Designer Affair.
