Ugh. I’m feeling my age today. The fact that I got about two hours sleep and woke up with a pounding headache doesn’t help. Honestly, were it not for an arsenal of anti-aging products that I swear by, I’d look worse than I feel. You know those days – practically every inch of skin on my body, save for the skin around my eyes, is puffy. I need sleep, water, a cup of coffee and an afternoon at a spa. But since the latter is not going to happen any time soon, I’m going to treat myself to 3LAB’s Anti-Aging Eye Lift.
This glorious stuff is heavenly, made with a newly-discovered “super antioxidant” that 3LAB calls Ephemer™, and which is derived from deep sea Brown Macroalgae. (Make a note of this and remember, you heard about it here first.) Anti-Aging Eye Lift firms, plumps and brightens the delicate eye area providing what the company calls “a lift from within.” In addition to Ephemer, Anti-Aging Eye Lift contains Marine Repair Complex, a proprietary blend of algae and other marine ingredients to hydrate skin while it stimulates the production of elastin and collagen and turns off the production of melanin. Sesame Seed Extract hydrates skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Caper extract soothes sensitive skin by fighting inflammation; Mange Shea Butter helps skin retain moisture and St. Paulswort and Chinese Sage Brush evens out skin tone and texture. In other words, 3LAB’s Anti-Aging Eye Lift is packed full of good stuff.
The company was hugely generous in sending me a full-size sample of their Anti-Aging Eye Lift which I’ve been using for a couple of weeks. That’s admittedly not enough time to allow it to fulfill all of its promises but I can report that the skin around my eyes looks pretty damn good. (Note: This is an honest review and my opinion has not been swayed by the receipt of product.) Regular readers may remember that I am not a fan of eye creams. I don’t know why, but they always drift into my eyes, stinging them and clouding my vision. Because of this, I hardly ever use them, even though I know that the skin around the eyes is thin, delicate and among the first places to show the signs of aging. So, I’m happy to report that 3LAB’s Anti-Aging Eye Lift is luxuriously thick and creamy. It does not migrate into my eyes and it melts into my skin almost instantly. Another thing I cannot stand about eye cream is that it makes it difficult to apply makeup and causes it to run. This has not been the case with 3LAB’s Anti-Aging Eye Lift which, while hydrating, absorbs quickly into my skin allowing me to apply my shadow and liner minutes after I use it. Good deal!
Not familiar with 3LAB? It’s a global leader in high-tech skin care that merges beauty with science to bring innovative products to the marketplace. The company has been lauded by beauty editors and consumer and their Super “h” serum was named as a “top splurge” winner in Allure’s Best of Beauty Awards issue in 2014. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if their Anti-Aging Eye Lift receives similar recognition.
Not gonna lie, this stuff is pricey. It’s $400.00 for 15 ml but you need only apply the tiniest bit to get the benefits which, besides what’s mentioned above, also includes the reduction of dark undereye circles and puffiness and the evening of skin tone.
