Big News from Murad, Inc. That Your Body Will Love

Attention EverBeautiful.com readers! There’s big news in the skin care market. Murad, Inc. has expanded their brand of hardworking facial skin care products to include a new line for the body! Appropriately named Youth Builder®, the new products cleanse, rejuvenate, firm, moisturize and pamper you from the neck down – and they smell heavenly doing it.

It’s no secret that I love Murad, Inc.’s skin care products. I have yet to find a single product  from this venerable company founded 25 years ago by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Howard Murad that I don’t like. I use several Murad products as part of my daily beauty regimen and others that I incorporate weekly. I’m a fan because the products work. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to come home last week to find a box from Murad, Inc. on my front step. I scurried inside to open my gift and was surprised to find body care products.

I started using the products the very next day. And, no surprises here, they live up to the Murad, Inc. name and reputation. Before I continue, you must understand that I have tried these products under the worst conditions. We’ve been experiencing single digit temperatures for several weeks where I live. I’ve pumped up the heat in my house – and it’s forced hot air, which I find to be terribly drying. Itching, flaking, sensitive skin has been the story of my life this past winter. I was eager to see what Murad’s Youth Builder line could do to help alleviate my skin’s woes. And I wasn’t disappointed …

The line consists of the following products:

Murad Detoxifying White Clay Body Cleanser, $26.00 for 6.75 Fl. Oz. – This stuff smells heavenly. It’s infused with Ginger Root Extract which, according to the product’s packaging, helps stimulate circulation. White clay cleanses the skin while safflower and sunflower oils moisturize and soften. The package says to apply a small amount to palms and work it into a creamy lather. Starting at the bottom of your legs, apply the product in a circular motion as you work your way up your body. The scent permeates the air and the experience reminded me of being at a spa. Murad Detoxifying White Clay Body Cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and pampered and the delicate scent lingered deliciously. (The scent is heavenly. I kept sniffing my arm for hours after my shower.)

Murad Collagen Support Body Cream, $40.00 – This body cream is nothing if not luxurious. Made with Shea butter and Jojoba Extract, it leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft and banishes itching and flaking. As with all the products in this line, the scent is divine.

Murad Firming Peptide Body Treatment, $36.00 – This moisturizing treatment melts to a light oil upon application and leaves skin incredibly soft and smooth. It’s not greasy; it’s luxurious and because it’s formulated with GlycoFirming Complex, a peptide-rich blend, skin looks visibly firmer. I spot use this product on my thighs and upper arms and, again, I cannot describe the scent – but I can’t get enough of it. It’s delicate and won’t compete with your perfume but you may not want to wear any, it’s that delicious.

Murad AHA Rejuvenating Hand Cream, $25.00 – Besides your face and decolletage, your hands show your age and lifestyle too. Sun, wind, dry air, harsh household cleansers and hot water wreak havoc on the thin skin of our hands. Murad AHA Rejuvenating Hand Cream contains Glycolic Acid to improve the texture of hands. It’s an incredibly moisturizing but lightweight cream that protects the moisture barrier to keep hands soft and smooth. I keep the jar I was sent by my kitchen sink to use when I clean up after meals and I am going to buy another to keep in my handbag. I noticed an improvement in the appearance of the skin on my hands the first time I used it. I also noticed an improvement in the way my hands feel. They are softer and less dry without being greasy or oily. In my case, Murad Rejuvenating AHA Hand Cream also reduced some of the redness my hands seem to naturally have. And the moisturizing effect lasted for hours and hours. I applied the cream in the early afternoon and my hands are still soft six hours later.

I am so excited about Murad, Inc.’s Youth Builder line of body care products and hope you will be too. I admit that I am often remiss about using body and hand creams but because I love the way the Murad products make my hands and body feel I will use them regularly. Their effects are immediate and long-lasting and the products are luxurious without being exorbitant.
