Bridal Fashion Week 2015, where the best of bridal fashions is on display, recently wrapped and this year’s bevy of bridal collections, from some of the most well-known and acclaimed designers, had me dreaming of yards of tulle, lace, fantastic and flattering silhouettes and illusion necklines. I covered the bridal market for many years for both Bride’s Magazine and Philadelphia Style Magazine and it’s my pleasure to bring you the Best of Bridal 2015 for EverBeautiful.com.

French lace and silk embroidery evoke the glass panels and ornate facades of Gothic cathedrals at Claire Pettibone who showed intricate bridal gowns fashioned with beads, sleeves, illusion necklines and details galore. All in all, her collection was, in a word, heavenly …

When one thinks of bridal fashion, one often thinks of traditional silhouettes and embellishments. But sometimes a bride wants to be a bit edgy, sexy and nontraditional on her special day. Enter the designs of Eugenia Couture which featured base gowns with overdresses, coats and skirts so that each bride can make the look her own.

Elegance, sophistication and impeccable detail are the hallmarks of Jean-Ralph Thurin’s Fall 2015 bridal collection.

 Yumi Katsura‘s “Modern Love” Fall 2015 collection celebrates the female form with soft, romantic and diaphanous looks as well as with figure-flattering shapes and the most heavenly skirts I’ve seen in a while. The collection evokes romance and fantasy and it is breathtaking.

Beverly Hills-based designer, Winnie Chlomin, featured airy silhouettes with fitted tops and billowy skirts. Imagine a bride floating down the aisle in one of these creations from Winnie Couture.

Val Stefani and Moonlight Bridal, a duo of designing sisters, debuted their Spring 2015 Collection that included classic silhouettes, lace details and intricate beading.
