I love the fall – the colors of the changing leaves; the brilliance of the clear blue sky; the clean, crisp air and the way the sun illuminates the day making the colors of the season look as if they’ve been painted with an artist’s palette. But, my favorite thing about the fall has to be the clothes. I love the rich hues, the textures and silhouettes – and I am insane for the latest styles of shoes, boots and handbags that beckon me from the selling floor.

Fall Fashion Trends 2103
Shades of Grey – This fall, shades of grey from the palest to the deepest, remind us that not everything is black and white.
Color Blocking – We’ve seen it in past seasons and it’s still going strong this fall. Look for color blocking on everything from dresses to coats to handbags. Shoes too.
Statement Coats – Oversized outerwear, baggy or structured or inspired by his closet, makes a statement this season.
Go Green – Spruce up your wardrobe with something in this earthy shade.
Graphically Speaking – Patterns, from florals to checks to plaid and everything in between, update the fall wardrobe.
Leather – Leather, whether real or faux, was ubiquitous on runways and lends an air of street chic to fall wardrobes. For this Fall Fashion Trends Guide, I selected faux leather looks.
Blue, blue, my world is blue – in shades from cobalt to navy to the palest, pale, blue hues rule.
Winter white – All over or paired with other colors, winter white is chic this season.
