A GLUTEN FREE RECIPE FOR WHEN YOU’RE CRAVING PASTA – FROM DR. FRANK LIPMAN
It’s July 4th weekend and that means picnics, barbecues and get togethers that center around food. Pasta salads, sandwiches, pizza and, of course, the requisite hamburgers and hot dogs – and their buns – are all tempting but are to be avoided if you’re eating gluten free. But, no worries. Dr. Frank Lipman offers the following gluten free recipe from Elena Amsterdam for when you’re craving pasta or want to offer a gluten free dish to your guests. It utilizes kelp noodles and is both tasty and healthy. (Kelp noodles are available in Asian markets or the Asian foods section of many large supermarkets. If you can’t find them, there are many resources for kelp noodles online.)
