Ouidad Color Sense Preserves Your Color – EverBeautiful by Melody Lesser

I just spent a fortune getting my slightly wavy hair colored. I know, I know. I’m worth it – but I want it to last and not get washed down the drain with a color-stripping shampoo. I want it to last through afternoons in the sun and at the pool and the beach. I want the beautiful, professionally-placed but completely natural looking highlights to last. Is that so wrong?

As I said, my hair is very slightly wavy and baby fine, but stick straight when I blow it out. I like it to have some volume but volume is hard to come by. And it frizzes. And now, hurray, we can! And we should. Here’s why …

Ouidad Color Sense is billed as a line of products that “protect and enhance the vibrancy of color-treated hair.” (Oh, but Ouidad people, it’s so much more.) It rained buckets the first time I used Ouidad Color Sense. Great, I thought. My color will be fresh but my hair will be such a ball of frizz, it’ll look awful anyway. Wrong! I cannot explain why or how, but my hair remained smooth and shiny and fabulous on the day I used Color Sense – and the day after, another rainy day. This can’t be, I thought. My hair frizzes when I brush my teeth. It’s impossible that it remained smooth during two days of stormy weather. I used Color Sense for several days, carefully calculating the remainder in the bottle. (I didn’t want to be caught without it before it became available for sale.) The weather varied between sensational and stormy but my hair looked sensational always. It was full, shiny and frizz-free, regardless of the humidity. Oh, and my color? It never looked better!

Ouidad is known for creating curl-pampering products. Well, this line’s for everyone. Try it if you color your hair and want to preserve your color between salon visits. Try it if your hair frizzes at the first sign of a dark cloud and you want it to remain frizz-free. Try it if your hair is curly. Or wavy. Or straight. Really, it’s fantastic.
