Bridal Fashions from Junko Yoshioka
It’s Bridal Fashion Week and New York City is awash in a sea of white, ecru and blush satin and lace as bridal fashion designers show their collections in various locations around town.
Here, the video of Junko Yoshioka’s runway show. Junko (pronounced June-ko) has dressed Hollywood notables including Jessica Alba, Katherine Heigl and Helen Hunt. Her designs have been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings and many other prestigious publications. Besides bridal fashions, the Japanese-born, NYC resident who also designs evening wear, showed her latest bridal collection and, in keeping with her design aesthetic, the attention to detail was breathtaking. Many of the looks featured strapless fitted bodices, some with intricate beading, pleating or lace overlays and fuller, yet still body conscious skirts.
