The look for Jill Stuart Spring 2013 is reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. Pretty, lacy frocks in muted tones – and black, which is a huge trend for Spring 2013 – are saved from being too sweet thanks to their sophisticated silhouettes and the element of sheerness. I can imagine Ginger Rogers dancing with Fred Astaire in several of the bias-cut satin dresses. The smoking jacket ensemble took my breath away but it’s the white trench coat that’s on my shopping list for spring.
