The biggest fashion party in the world is just around the corner. It’s Fashion’s Night Out, of course, and this year it’s happening on September 6th. If you’re planning on attending, check out this link for a Schedule of Events in New York City and elsewhere.
Last year’s FNO featured events in eighteen countries. The US alone was the site of more than 4,500 events.
New York, as energized as it is 365 days a year, becomes even more alive during Fashion’s Night Out when hundreds of retailers host over-the-top parties complete with celebrities, fashion shows, complimentary food and drinks and live bands. The streets swarm with models, designers, fashion photographers and editors, all of whom are there for Fashion Week. (Fashion’s Night Out kicks off NYC Fashion Week and was started four years ago to encourage shoppers to support the fashion industry during tough economic times.)
Fashion’s Night Out continues to grow in real time and virtually. Can’t be there in person? You can participate in FNO without leaving your house.
In the past, QVC hosted and aired a FNO fashion show, complete with a roster of celebrity vendors, from a fabulous NYC location. This year, QVC is one of the “supporters” of FNO and their event is certain to be better than ever. Check out their website for updates … http://www.QVC.com
