I am a huge fan of Mama Mio skincare products. They are innovative, unique, have cool names, are brightly packaged and while I’m the first to admit there are limitations as to what one can expect from a cream or lotion, I’ve noticed promising results from the Mama Mio products I’ve tried.
I recently received a bottle of Mama Mio Skin Tight Toning Serum to try for review. The press release touted its smoothing and firming benefits for use on arms – but it can be used on the face or any part of the body that needs toning and tightening. In fact, the product was originally called Tummy Toner Skin Tightener and, I’m assuming from reviews I’ve read, was so popular with pregnant women and new moms that the company renamed (and reassigned) it for use on the entire body and face.
According to the company’s literature, Skin Tight Toning Serum “takes facial peel technology and applies it to the body. Its four stage action of exfoliation, skin tightening, and massively nourishing moisturization will combat crepey, slack, tired skin – anywhere you need it.” Mama Mio recommends using the product once or twice a day for 6 to 8 weeks for maximum results and, once you achieve your results, maintain them by using the product three times a week.
Skin Tight contains papaya enzymes that exfoliate skin, hyaluronic acid to moisturize and nourish the skin, soy protein complex to tighten the surface of the skin and Uniprosyn™ – a blend of oat protein, ATP and Vitamin B3 to decrease skin’s crepeyness and boost its protein production.
Skin Tight Toning Serum comes in a pump dispenser and I could hardly wait to pump some into my hand and slather it on my, hm, where should I try it first? The scent surprised me a little. I guess I was expecting something fruity and sweet but it smells slightly medicinal in a not unpleasant way. I pumped out a small amount, applied it to my face and noticed that my skin felt tighter. Was it my imagination? I raised and lowered my eyebrows several times and, yup, the skin on my forehead feels tighter. Several years ago, while working as Fashion Editor for a regional consumer magazine, I received a non-surgical face lift during which electrical impulses were applied to my skin. (Oh the things I do for my readers and no, it didn’t hurt at all.) I swore that it left my skin tighter and smoother. I could feel it and other people, who didn’t know I had undergone the procedure, commented on how smooth my skin looked. Well, that’s how my skin felt after one application of Mama Mio Skin Tight Toning Serum.
Next, I applied the serum to the upper portion of my left arm. I don’t have crepeyness or loose skin there but wanted to see if the serum tightened my skin revealing the muscles I work so hard to get. As with my face, the skin on my left arm felt noticeably tighter and smoother. There’s gotta be something to this product.
I’ve only been using it for a few days, but I’m hooked on the feeling and will continue to use it.

Great article. A friend gave me another mamma mio product – and I Love It!!! Same premise and I have the same comment. The smell was a bit different but the product works!!! The name of what I tried is “Boob tube” and it is meant for the neck and “cleavage area” but can also be used on the face. This cream also tightens up the area. A wonderful thing! I bought Skin Tight Toning Serum by the advise of Dr.Oz, used twice a day in my things, but I did no see any improvement. At around 50.00 a bottle, the product is not worth it.

I don’t represent the company in any way at all but I will say that the product made my skin feel smoother and definitely tighter. I have used other Boob Tube products too and like them as well. Did you read my post on Vaseline? That, in and of itself, is a great moisturizer (used sparingly) and is beyond inexpensive. I like trying new products because the technology manufacturers bring to skin care advances all the time. I also think you have to hydrate from within. Drink water, eat healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, a handful of almonds), exercise and get plenty of sleep. Aging happens.
