Registration is now open for the 10th annual FITNESS Magazine Mind, Body + Spirit Games, a New York Road Runners event, which will be held Saturday, September 17th in New York’s Central Park. This fun-filled day devoted to health and fitness features activities for the whole family, including both a women’s and men’s 4-mile run along with kids’ races (for ages 2-12). The event is sponsored by ASICS, Birkenstock, Garnier, Oakley and Sun Maid.
The 4-mile women’s and men’s runs are scored races that count toward the nine races NYRR members need to complete in order to be eligible for guaranteed entry into the 2012 ING New York City Marathon, as of January 2012.

All runners, walkers and supporters of the event are welcome to visit the FITNESS Magazine Mind, Body + Spirit Festival located on Center Road before and after the races for free samples, classes and demonstrations, exciting giveaways, free gift bags, live music and an awards ceremony following the run.
Entry Fees for Non-NYRR Members: On or before September 2: $33; September 3– September 16: $37; Limited Race Day Entries: $40; Kids Races: $6 advance, $8 race day. There is a discounted fee for NYRR members. Race bib numbers, scoring chips, and souvenir t-shirts may be picked up at New York Road Runners, 9 East 89th Street, on Thursday, September 15 and Friday September 16, from 1PM to 7PM. On race day, number pickup/registration will be in Central Park at the registration tent from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. for the men’s race and 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. for the women’s race. Race number distribution for the Kids’ Races will close promptly at 10:45 a.m.
