Here’s a typical scenario, or at least one that’s typical for me … My vacation plans are made and for several weeks before I leave, I hit the gym hard. I put in extra time on the treadmill, meet with my trainer more often and do more repetitions lifting heavier weights. I am careful to watch every morsel that passes my lips so that I am as bathing suit ready as I’ll ever be before I board the plane.
