My husband has one shelf in the shower relegated to his products. On it reside his body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Neat! I, on the other hand, have taken over the remaining three shelves in our shower and have piled them with shampoo, conditioner, several body washes and soaps (because I never know what fragrance is going to suit my mood of the day or night), deep conditioners, bath sponges, an exfoliator and an assortment of other products that either smell great or promise to make my hair and/or skin shiny, smooth, volumized, soft, etc. Honestly, people who know me know that I am neat as a pin, but my shower shelves overflow with product. Wouldn’t it be nice (for my husband, especially) if I were to dispense with some of the shower stuff? Hell, yeah!
So, I found these …
ONE Solid Shampoo Bar: Formulated with soothing oatmeal and conditioning natural oils instead of harsh chemicals, the shampoo bar lets you lather up with just three or four rubs over wet hair while providing a fresh-scented deep clean. Available Scents: It’s Green (for bouncy lively hair), Goldilocks (the name should be a clue), Squeaky Clean (for oily hair), Hair Biscuit (I’m a sucker for products that smell like a baker’s kitchen).
ONE Solid Conditioner Hair Boost: Made with nourishing Shea Butter and Macadamia Nut Oil, this solid envelops hair in nourishing natural moisture for a soft tangle-free finish.
Each earth-friendly formula features gentle ingredients and comes in a recyclable tin container housed in cardboard. There’s no plastic in sight.
Available at Target Stores nationwide, Target.com; Walgreens.com, OneBathandBody.com for $7.99 each.
Bonus: These spill-proof products are great for travel too! Tuck one of each in your on-the-go-beauty kit.
Added Bonus: This, from the company’s website – ONE is committed to promoting natural beauty without compromising the beauty of the earth, providing eco-friendly products in recyclable, plastic-free packaging to rejuvenate the spirit and save the planet.
This thing is no longer called a shampoo. I mean I was use to see the ordinary kind of shampoo and it is is a form of liquid soap but this one is a real solid thing. Well, I get to see it’s advantage and convenient for no spilling out and you get to use it ti’ll it gets empty. But this is still submitted to every consumer’s perspective.:)
Hi Katrina – I haven’t tried the solid shampoo but thought it had lots of benefits which you also see. Thanks for writing and letting readers know your perspective. Regards, Melody
