Last week, during New York Fashion Week, I had the wonderful opportunity to preview the newest jewelry designs from Di Modolo, the luxury brand whose innovative yet timeless designs are crafted in Italy and who made their mark with their Triadra Collection of 18 karat gold and diamonds. Di Modolo, helmed by designer Dino Modolo, introduced the new Triadra Argento collection which is made of sterling silver and adorned with pearls and semi-precious gemstones including amethyst, onyx and blue quartz. It is crafted with the same imagination, wearability and attention to detail as its higher priced line but is available at friendlier price points.
Di Modolo, whose ads have been fronted by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Tea Leoni, incorporates up-to-the-minute design and old-world craftsmanship. The result is droolworthy. The Triadra link, a sensuous, hypnotic and fluid curve of gold or silver, begs to be caressed. I admit it; I lusted after several pieces. I love the Triadra Medallion bracelet and was fortunate to have had it on my wrist for several moments. I was loathe to take it off. But my ascent into Di Modolo jewelry heaven didn’t end there. Oh no. Like a kid in a candy store that wants to sample every goodie, I tried on, or at least caressed, most of the Di Modolo offerings. They are transcendent.
Di Modolo can be found in many of the country’s high end retailers including Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus (which at the moment, carries only their gold jewelry. But look for the silver line there soon.) and in stores around the world, including their flagship store at The Mall at Short Hills. Di Modolo has also been featured in the Ross-Simons catalog.

ohhh, that medallion bracelet!! {& I usually do not like yellow gold, but that does not look like normal, almost a pale rose gold}
The workmanship on the bracelet – and so many of the pieces – is intricate and so very beautiful. I loved that bracelet too. I seriously could not stop touching the pieces – and kept trying things on. I felt like a pest but everyone was really nice and didn’t mind. I’ve got a few pieces on my wish list …
